FAQ
Do composite veneers ruin your teeth?
The composite is biocompatible, harmless to your teeth, it does not damage them. Normally the preparation of the teeth is minimally invasive, which means that the treatment is not aggressive at all. Most of the time composite veneers strengthen the structure of your teeth.
How fast can I get it done?
Composite veneers can be done in a one-appointment. The length of the appointment depends on how many teeth you want to restore. We normally calculate 1 hour per tooth. The most regular case is to restore 6 front upper or lower teeth – it takes around 6 hours.
How long do composite veneers last?
Composite is a strong and very aesthetic material, but it requires some maintenance. You need to have excellent oral hygiene and we recommend you polish your veneers once a year at least to keep them shiny. In case of chipping it is very easy to fix it in one appointment. Normally we recommend changing veneers in 7-10 years.
Who can perform this treatment?
This treatment requires comprehensive knowledge of dental aesthetics and oclusion, thorough analysis of the bite and accurate treatment plan. To ensure excellent results and durability of veneers it should be performed by highly specialized and experienced Dental Aesthetics Specialists.
